Another rehearsal this evening, running our set for the Newtown gig at the Town Hall Hotel. We'll be playing at their Free Entry Open Mic night on 18th Dec (set time TBC). Last week's recordings are ready for us, and we've added a few snippets to the Media page on our website (www.remtribute.com.au/media.html), so you will know what to expect when you see us play.

Demo recording

This evening we recorded our demo! When rehearsing it's not always easy to hear how the whole band sounds, and you're usually busy playing your own instrument anyway. It's great being
able to stand back and hear how everything comes together when it's balanced just like it would be for an audience at a live show. Afterwards our sound engineer played us a few snippets of what he'd recorded, but we'll find out the results next week.
